Employing myself towards a purpose was always thwarted by negative thoughts from my overprotective ego about my place in life. This Rumi Card validates my journey towards my life purpose and lets me know that it is a feeling process, not a thinking process.
2 years ago, at the untimely end of another opportunity, I found myself sobbing in my car, desperate and frustrated.
I called out to the Universe, lamenting begging for an answer.
I was honest about my anger. My frustrations with American survival. Despairing over my untapped potentials. I surrendered to the Universe and told them that it better tell me what to do next while providing and protecting me in the process.
And the Universe answered back.
That was the beginning of the rest of my life, living my life’s purpose.
Today, I joyously use my body, mind and spirit to help others and myself.
Living my purpose feels good in ways high profile or easy breezy opportunities never felt. The pain and difficulties that accompany every endeavor are quickly transmuted into comforting lessons and blessings. My purpose is evolving and yet brings a sense of security, without having an end goal or direction insight.
The Rumi Card, Passion for Purpose, is confirmation that concepts like certainty, validation, accreditation or experience are not required to live your life’s purpose.
The only requirement is the willingness to move towards the good feelings you engender in yourself and others as you “figure it out”. As you allow your purpose to expand, it is transformed into passion and a remarkable life.
